
Surrey Outreach
On January 18th, we went out on the streets of Whalley, in Surrey, to do street ministry.

On February 7th we did a mini outreach at the Surrey Central Mall handing out tracts, the Gospel of John and the Daily Bread. Some received with a smile some declined.

March 16th we were out on the streets of Whalley distributing 25 Care Packs including a sandwich lunch and water.

On April 13th, we visited the Wagner Hills Farm Women’s Campus in Langley to give 12 Gift Packs to the 12 women who are currently in a program at the farm.

On April 29th my friend and I met at the Tim Hortons at New Westminster skytrain station. We were there to pick up breakfast and coffee for a conference we were attending for 3 days. 29th was the 2nd day.

May 25th we served 25 dinner sandwiches together with water, pop, fruit and snacks on the streets of Whalley. We included the Gospel of John in the Care Packs as well.

June 29th, we were out on the streets of Whalley again, giving Care Packs with fruit, water, a hot dinner sandwich, snacks and the Gospel of John / Daily bread to 25 people.

On July 16th we gathered at the Steveston Community Park to celebrate and give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for 2 amazing years of ministry.

We were on the streets of Whalley again today to share the love and compassion of Jesus with people who live on the streets.

Many years ago while I was living in Sri Lanka battling all the medical issues, in pain and discomfort, feeling angry sometimes and sorry for myself, constantly talking about how sick I was and how unfair life was, Pastor Allan Fraser, my pastor in Sri Lanka, called me one day.

October 19th, we joined NightShift Ministries (NSM) in Whalley to serve dinner to 110 street friends who mostly live on the streets. From Sound of the Lord Mission, we gave 110 bananas and 110 oranges.

The announcement of the birth of Jesus to the Shepherds happened at night. The skies lit up with the Lord’s glory.
