Gospel of Jesus Christ

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Be Inspired

2024

Abide in the Lord! As we entered the last quarter of 2023, I was praying for 2024 and the Lord spoke these words to me from John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

I believe the Lord is calling us to not just a year of abiding in Him but to abide in Him for our lifetime. Believers are called to bear fruit, much fruit, remaining fruit and unless we abide in Jesus this is not going to happen. Many Christians go to the Lord only when there is a problem or need. Let us make the changes that we need to make so that Jesus IS the center of our lives and occupies the throne of our heart and mind.

Friends, it is time to evaluate how we have lived in the past and redeem the time. We all have 24 hours to live each day. How do we use this time? Let us lay aside every weight that besets us, and run with confidence the race that is set before us. Identify the time stealers, the distractions that take our focus away from what the Lord has called us to do. Give priority to reading, studying the Word, prayer and ministry. Protect your personal time with the Lord.

Be intentional, consistent and determined to give your time and attention to what is important – your relationship with the Lord. Jesus wants us to know Him, not to just be doing ministry. To the degree that we know Him, to that degree, He will reveal Himself to us.

Moses spent 40 days on the mountain and came back with God’s glory on his countenance so bright that people could not look at him and he had to wear a veil. Peter, James and John saw the Lord transfigured, a vision of His glory. Of the 12 disciples, only 3 were invited to see this manifestation. Let us yearn for this level of relationship with the Lord.

In Mark 1:35 we read Jesus Himself withdrew to a place of prayer, an intimate time with the Father. “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.”

Prayer is key to abiding in the Lord. It is the place of communing, of talking with the Lord, of listening, of drawing near to hear what He wants to speak to us. Let us say “Speak Lord, your servant is listening” and then be quick to obey.

Hebrews 2:1 – 4 “Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
As we abide in the Lord, may there be signs, wonders and various miracles in our lives throughout 2024 in Jesus name. Amen.

2023

I am excited for 2023! This is the Word the Lord gave me for this year. “Living in God’s Will – Healing IS God’s Will. Towards the end of last year as I was praying I sensed that the Lord was saying that too many people are struggling with sickness and disease when Jesus has already given us the remedy. The prescription for healing, health and wholeness is in Jesus, in the Word! God has made provision for us through Jesus to live in His will every day. 9 out of 10 prayer requests I receive are for healing from disease and sickness. This year, let us press into the Lord’s Word and be saturated in it, let our minds be renewed with the saving, healing, delivering Word so that we live in divine health and minister healing to others. Healing IS God’s will! Matthew 4:23-25 Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon- possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. 25 Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan. Healing sick, tormented,  demon possessed, diseased people IS an integral part of Jesus’ ministry. When He gave His life for whosoever will believe in Him, He authorised the Believer to do what He did. Believers will lay hands on the sick and heal them in His Name. Believers will SPEAK & DECREE the healing Word over anyone who needs healing and expect to see answers.

In Matthew 10:8 Jesus said; Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

We have been given the authority, power and anointing to GO in His name and bring relief to those who are suffering from sickness. Do not stop praying, decreeing or speaking the Word if you experience a delay in seeing an answer to prayer. Continue to speak JESUS, continue to decree the Healing, all powerful sickness busting Name above all names.

This year, I pray that there will be exceptional, extraordinary, unusual miracles and healings happening in our lives throughout the year!

Let’s live 2023 with purpose so that at the end of this year we can look back in amazement and say “surely, the Lord moved in our lives, for this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes”!.

Be blessed and stay blessed no matter what challenges come about, remember we live in a place of victory in Christ and we fight the good fight of faith from the victorious position that Christ has given us.

I pray that you will prosper this  year and BE in health even as your soul prospers.

Excitement and Adventure awaits the active Believer IN Christ!

2022

As I was praying extensive hours in November, of 2021 I sensed the word “Excellence” coming to my mind. I felt that this is a word for the New Year, 2022 and that we are to live and do, whatever we do, with excellence. This is not to imply that other years should not be lived with, and in excellence, but that in 2022 we must be intentional in what we do, to do it well, the best we know how.

We are not to compare ourselves with any individual or organisation, we are to live out our best for the Lord. Whatever we do, do it as unto the Lord.

Daniel 6:1 – 3
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom one hundred and twenty satraps, to be over the whole kingdom; 2 and over these, three governors, of whom Daniel was one, that the satraps might give account to them, so that the king would suffer no loss. 3 Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.

The satraps were the chief representatives of the king who governed the various provinces and performed the role of raising and maintaining an army and carried out other responsibilities. God gave Daniel favour, and he was appointed over the satraps and governors.
Every Believer already has an excellent spirit because we are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). It is our individual responsibility to live and serve with that spirit of excellence.

God has given us dominion over the earth and everything in it, through His name, the name of Jesus we have been empowered and authorised to live from a position of victory. This is the victory which Jesus won for us on the cross.

2 Peter 1:3
By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the One who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.

May many souls be ushered into His Kingdom and may we see unusual, extraordinary miracles as we step out and do the work of the ministry as the Lord has commissioned us to share the Gospel of Good News.

We will live with peace of mind, and with the joy of the Lord which is our strength. We will live in optimal health and be diligent students of the Word and then take that Word to the highways and byways, to wherever the Lord leads us to go so that we be ‘missionaries to whosoever will believe and receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ’.

Philippians 1:9 & 10
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ.

As we serve the Lord in 2022, I invite you to consider and ponder over this Scripture in Daniel 6 and ask the Holy Spirit to help you live each day with a spirit of excellence.

2021

The Vision for this ministry was given to me by the Lord in 2018 with the direction to register as Sound of the Lord Mission. I was afraid to move forward as I had so many questions including ‘did I really hear from the Lord’?. I prayed many hours for days, weeks and months and asked for confirmation which was given through people who had no idea what the Lord had instructed me to do.

In May of 2020 the Lord reminded me again so in July 2020 Sound of the Lord Mission was registered as a Non-Profit Society in Canada.

When I look back over the last 2 years I can see how the Lord transitioned me out of a Corporate work environment into working in His Harvest Field – to be a missionary for the Lord.

This is the Lord’s doing, and it has been, is, and will continue to be an amazing adventure. I am thankful and very grateful for a committed and dedicated team of like-minded believers who have joined the ministry to go out on whatever mission the Lord commissions us to embark on.

I invite you to linger in our website and be blessed as you read and view the pictures and reports of the ministry. Your questions, comments and feedback are welcome. Connect with us!

This is the word the Lord gave me for 2021. REACH FORWARD. Counting 10 years from this year, prepare for a decade!

The scripture reference is Philippians 3:12 – 14.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on,
that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of
me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I
do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to
those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the
upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

To reach means to stretch out in a specified direction in order to touch or grasp something; extend, outstretch, get as far as, the extent or range of application, effect, or influence, capacity, authority.

The only limit in reaching forward will be the limits that you and I place on ourselves so let’s take the limits off!

I pray that we will REACH FORWARD in every area of our lives, in the harvest fields, to bring in the harvest for the time is NOW!.

I decree supernatural miracles as we reach forward. I decree repositioning, realignment; renewing, refreshing, reviving, recharging, replenishing everything that was lost. Restoration of all the years that got wasted; revisiting of dreams, prophetic words and visions to take it back up and run with it. Resurrection power operating in every area of our lives and more…… REACH FORWARD! Hallelujah, Thank You Lord!

Receive this word if you would like to and ask the Lord to personalise it for you. I am excited – adventures await as we continue our journey of working with the Lord in our Father’s Business. All For the Glory of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour!
