1 Corinthians 16:14
Let all that you do be done with love.
We were on the streets of Whalley again today to share the love and compassion of Jesus with people who live on the streets. It was a very hot day so we had plenty of bottled water to give together with the Care Packs which had a delicious chicken sandwich, pudding, oranges, banana, snacks and more water, the Gospel of John / Daily Bread.
As always, thank you for your generous donations so that we can keep going out on street ministry. I have shared some pictures below.
Let ALL that you do be done with love. God so loved the world that He gave Jesus to die in our stead so that we can be redeemed and reconciled back to Father God.
Why do we do the things that we do? What motivates us? According to this Scripture, Paul is exhorting the church in Corinth to be motivated by love. Love for the Lord, for the people in our lives, for the community we live in and beyond.
May all that we do be done with love in Jesus name!
We give all glory, honour and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you have any questions please feel free to respond to this email.

In this picture are Colin and Laura, staff of the Vancouver BC Branch of Make A Wish Foundation who received our donation of $1,050 towards the wish of a child. Many thanks to everyone who joined us in making this happen. May your reward from the Lord be great, lavish and abundant!
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Are we not good enough to pray such big prayers? Are we missing something, a spiritual truth that is the key to unlocking that seemingly elusive formula to have our prayers answered swiftly?
Could it be sin in our lives that makes the Father turn His face away from us with a rebuke, “get yourself cleaned up before you bring your petitions”?.
His prayer affected the whole earth, negatively, for a period of 3 years and 6 months. This was not a prayer to heal a cold or ask for a job. It was an impossible prayer, prayed in simple faith, by a mere man just like you and me.
And then he prayed again, for a reversal of his previous prayer and the Lord answered again and sent rain and the earth brought forth her fruit.
How much more then, does the Father hear the cry of His children under the Covenant of Grace. Persist in earnest prayer and don’t allow the enemy to give you reasons why that answer is not yet forthcoming. Some prayers will be answered in time, some answers are not even important but it’s the process He wants us to walk through that will bear fruit for His glory if we submit and are willing.
So I’m choosing to go back and pick up those prayers that I have allowed to collect dust over the years, prayers that have been neglected because I believed the lie of the enemy, that I had to overcome every sin and be ‘miss perfect’ before I qualify to receive. Jesus became the perfect sacrifice for everyone who chooses to believe and receive Him as Saviour & Lord.
He is faithful, and you will receive your answer sooner than you think. He is a God of suddenlies and works above man’s doctrines and the world system. ‘The way it’s usually done’ is earthly but His ways are above our ways and His thoughts are above ours.
Pray those impossible prayers again and allow Him to glorify Himself through you.

Let us pray:
- For the Seniors in our community. That they will be provided optimal care, support and be treated with respect and dignity. There are many seniors living in care homes that are not receiving the care they should. Let’s please pray.
- For our families – those who are yet to receive salvation.
- For Volunteers to join us to help with administrative tasks, and to go on outreaches.
- For every person who has received a Gospel, Tract, Bible, Daily Bread booklet, that they will behold Jesus as Saviour and Lord.
- For our ministry team, families, donors, supporters and newsletter connections.
We would be happy to pray for & with you!
