3rd Ministry Anniversary August 5, 2023

I thank God for an amazing Spirit-filled service of thanksgiving & celebration to the Lord on August 5th 2023, at Celebration Life Church in Surrey, BC Canada.

Psalm 118:23

This was the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

As I look back over the past 3 years I am excited and thrilled at what the Lord has done and is continuing to do when we say YES to Him.

Our Mission is from Matthew 9:35-38

35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.”

The Lord gave the name for the ministry directly from Scripture:

Genesis 3:8a

And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day,

I am grateful for everyone who came, supported and joined, in celebrating our 3rd ministry anniversary. You are deeply appreciated!

1 John 3:18

My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

To our Ministry Team, Donors and Supporters, your dedication, passion and commitment to serve the Lord through Sound of the Lord Mission has been instrumental in moving the ministry to this 3 year milestone that we celebrated. The Lord sees your heart, your zeal and your sacrificial love in giving of your time, talents and resources for His Kingdom. Well done, I am privileged to serve the Lord with you!

We have overcome challenges, difficulties, and sometimes physical tiredness but the joy of the Lord was and is our strength and victory.

I am excited to continue onwards and upwards with an incredible team of committed believers and we will grow together as we study the Word, pray for, and support one another to serve the Lord.

Enjoy the video taken by Jeffin Thomas which captures most of the unique “God-Moments” that we experienced throughout the service.  We used only one camera so you will see some abrupt transitions but that’s ok, we have come a long way from when we started and I am thankful :). We cherish the memories of the past 3 years and look forward to serving the Lord for many more years.

We are making an impact in the lives of people living in our communities in Surrey and Richmond and sharing the Gospel, collaborating with other ministries and organisations.

Rev. Audrey Mabley shared a powerful, anointed Holy Spirit inspired message that cheered us on to continue to GO as He has SENT us to the harvest fields which are plenty!. We thank God for Rev. Audrey Mabley, a role model joyful Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I thank God for the friendships and divine connections that God has blessed us with. The feedback I received from people who attended the service confirmed what we all saw and experienced. The Lord was lifted high and people were blessed! My phone was buzzing for days with comments and feedback 🙂 Hallelujah! What joy!

We will continue to sow the seed of the Word of God and share God’s love wherever we go as missionaries to whosoever will believe and receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Friends, if you have not yet answered the call to serve the Lord and are waiting  for everything to be perfect in your life, then I encourage you, don’t wait any more. Take a step of faith and step out on what the Lord has asked you to do.

The Lord provides us with endless opportunities and exciting adventures with divine purpose to serve in His Father’s Business. May we have eyes to see and ears to hear and be quick to obey.

We will continue building a like-minded community of believers who will run with the vision God has given us. May the sound of our voices be like a trumpet, speaking and decreeing Scripture, words of encouragement, healing and edification that will resonate all around us and be amplified by the Holy Spirit into a definite unique sound of God’s love, saving grace, and power.

We give all glory, thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords! Hallelujah!!
