One Year Milestone Reached!
On July 14th 2021, Sound of the Lord Mission reached the One Year Ministry Milestone, Hallelujah!!
Psalm 9:1 & 2
I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing the praises of Your name, O Most High.
As we celebrate our first ministry anniversary with gratitude and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, I would like to share with you, some of the highlights of this past year.
- 400 plus meals & 500 plus bottles of water, juice & pop served during street ministry.
- 40 lavish gift bags were given to 40 women going through rehab at Phoenix Society.
- 15 plus street ministry outreaches including on Christmas day 2020 and Easter Sunday, 2021.
- Distributed gloves, toques, socks, blankets & other items during street ministry in the winter.
- We have given tracts, Gospels of John and the Daily Bread and prayed for many people during the outreaches. May we, or others water, and God will give the increase.
I have witnessed God’s faithfulness, direction and leading in launching, growing and sustaining the ministry in miraculous and supernatural ways. Together with an amazing, dedicated and committed team of people that the Lord has gathered to go about our Father’s Business, we stepped out in obedience to follow in the footsteps of the Greatest Missionary that ever lives, Jesus our Lord and Saviour.
Thank you for praying, giving financial donations, sponsoring outreaches and donating items for distributing to people who live on the streets & going through rehab. Thank you for volunteering time, supporting and being connected to Sound of the Lord Mission. May your reward and blessings from the Lord be great, multiplied, be abundant, lavish, extravagant and more…..!
All praise, honour and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ!
With joy,

Victoria & Surrey – Missionary Work in July
Friday, July 2nd we went to Victoria, the Capital of British Columbia, Canada on a mini missions trip and to enjoy a time of fellowship.
We sang, prayed, decreed over Victoria and the nation. It was an amazing time. We sensed God’s presence and favour throughout the day. As we were returning home to board the ferry, an eagle circled over the car which was surely a prophetic image. There were opportunities to give the Gospel of John to people in Victoria.
Sunday, July 11th we did an outreach in Whalley. This time we decided to give dinner whereas usually we give lunch. 50 dinners with water and pop were distributed together with the Daily Bread.
It was a very warm evening with no breeze. The people we ministered to were thankful for the water and pop. Drinking water is not easily accessible to them, therefore, on our next outreach we will take more bottles of water. Sometimes we take so much for granted in our lives including that we have water on tap but there are people who do not have this and would consider it a luxury.
Some of the people who live on the streets recognize us, and are very grateful that we go out to help them. The 4 pictures below are from the Whalley outreach. In the 2nd picture you can see the young man reading the Daily Bread we gave. Hallelujah, may they all behold the Saviour, our Lord Jesus Christ!

A time to Remember & Reflect
What do you see when you look back on your life?
Have you moved forward in your goals or do you feel you have not been fruitful?
There could be the good, bad, and ugly in our remembering, however, the decision to dwell on the positive or negative is our choice.
Jacob chose to remember the negative in answer to Pharaoh’s simple question.
Genesis 47:7-9
Then Joseph brought his father Jacob in and presented him before Pharaoh. After Jacob blessed Pharaoh, Pharaoh asked him, “How old are you?” And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers.”
Yet the Scriptures say he was wealthy and prosperous.
Genesis 30:43
And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.
We should always look ahead, setting goals, reaching forward but sometimes we need to glance (not gaze) back and be thankful, amazed and rejoice at what God has done in our lives. This attitude of gratefulness will set the stage for your future. God loves a thankful heart, a heart that remembers His mercy, provision and marvelous works.
Sound of the Lord Mission celebrated 1 year of ministry, on July 14th 2021. Looking back it seems incredulous what the Lord has done through this ministry, touching hundreds of lives, sowing seed, sharing the gospel, feeding the hungry. It was a walk of faith, with challenges, questions, and seasons of waiting, but the Lord has magnified Himself through it all.
Psalm 72:18
Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
