Outreach in Whalley with Pacific Life Bible College Students
The sower sows the word.
On December 9th students of Pacific Life Bible College where I work as the Admissions Officer, went out on street ministry outreach. We shared God’s love, compassion and mercy by providing care packs with nourishing food & treats, hot chocolate and coffee. The Gospel message was included in each care pack. We also had another care pack with accessories to give them, so that they can stay warm during the winter months.
We met Raymond, a man with a sense of humour who accepted a hot cup of coffee gratefully. Usually during winter street ministry we know that people are thankful to wrap their hands around a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate and we even made mocha for some! 🙂 We try to take the hot beverages whenever we can, depending on how many of us go out to minister as we carry everything and walk around Whalley.
We also met Ricky and Brianna, Amanda, Sam, Si, Jay, Hanjal, Angela and Deanna. Why am I mentioning names? Names are important to the Lord, He called people by name and it is special when people introduce themselves by mentioning their names.
We prayed with some and had meaningful conversations with others. We sowed seed, the Word. Please pray with us that others will water and God will give the increase. For the students, this was a significant experience in their lives to be able to put into action, what they are studying at the college, to share the Gospel and love of Jesus on the streets.
We appreciate the support of our donors who are empowering us to go outside of the walls of the church buildings and share the Gospel. We are thankful for your generosity and kindness.
Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

Christmas Visit to Senior Home
On December 20th I went with Sheryl, Opal & Jhorilyn to a Senior Home in Delta. We sang Christmas Carols and shared a brief message on the meaning of Christmas and why Jesus came, to provide salvation for all who would believe in Him. Good news of ‘Great Joy’.
Luke 2:10 & 11
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
The staff brought more residents to the lounge area and there were about 20 seniors plus staff who joined in singing and clapping. It was wonderful to be there and share God’s love. After the carols, we stayed to chat with some of the residents. One lady shared that she has family but they don’t visit her. This is the reality that many seniors face unfortunately. Let’s pray for the seniors in our communities.
Since our 1st visit to this Senior Home last month we have been praying that we may be able to visit regularly and I do believe God gave us favour and answered our prayer. I met with the Recreation Aide who informed me that I could have a mini service on Saturdays. Please join us in prayer and if you are able to help by volunteering in some way, please contact me. We are looking for people who can play instruments and sing when we visit again.
I look forward to finishing this year well for the glory of God and looking forward to 2026.
Christmas Blessings to you.
With gratitude,

We would love to pray for & with you!
