Street Ministry in Surrey
On December 8th we did an outreach in Whalley. 25 hot lunches with coffee, treats, and fruit. We are grateful for a Bible Study Group in Richmond that donated 50 care packs with warm accessories including socks, toques, gloves, scarves, and other very useful items and for a donation of 3 jackets that we received. So many people were blessed as we shared the Gospel and gave them these basic necessities.
Some may never step into a church building, therefore, we who are the church must go to the streets and share the love of Jesus.
2 Corinthians 9:7 – 11
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written:
“He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”
10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
On this outreach, we saw one lady rummaging through a green bin for food. We were able to give her lunch and a care pack. It seems like a small gesture but at least for that day, she received a substantial meal and will remember that there are people who care.
Grateful thanks again to everyone who is sending us to the streets to help the community of people who need help the most. God bless you in abundance.
With joy,

Expired/Out Dated Version
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The day we accept Christ and invite Him into our lives, the old version of ourselves ends. God stamps ‘Expired / outdated version” on us but sometimes we have a tendency to add a question mark at the end.
Salvation is instant but the sanctification of our mind and soul is a process. We see the same bad habits, same weaknesses same sins emerging again and again as we struggle to understand how to elevate our experience to the level of the Word and not reduce the Word of God to the level of our experience.

Richmond Ministry – December
Many of us came to Canada as immigrants. Settling in a new country can be overwhelming in addition to finding employment and being able to support one’s family.
We are joyful to share with you that we were able to provide Christmas hampers to 3 families. We will continue to provide for these families in the New Year as the Lord provides. The Lord is opening ways for us to share the Gospel and the love of Christ and we will move forward as God directs.
Deuteronomy 10:18
He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing.
Pregnancy Options – Christmas Hamper
Our ministry team donated very generously towards a Christmas Hamper for Pregnancy Options. This was donated to one of their clients who has a 3 year old toddler. We thank God for the work that Pregnancy Options is doing to help families that are facing un-planned pregnancies and joyful that we could bless a family with this Christmas hamper.

BC Flood Relief – November
As many of us are aware, there was a devastating flood that caused massive damage to roads and many people lost their homes and everything they had.
The pictures and video many of us saw on the news, were overwhelming to see. There was so much destruction and the landscape of the area has changed, just in a matter of a few days.
Richmond Christian School spearheaded a donation drive to pack a truck full of basic necessities and we were able to donate and help the flood victims through RCS. For everyone donating to Sound of the Lord Mission, you have blessed so many people.
We are thankful and grateful as we continue to serve the Lord and minister to people.

We invite you to add your offering to ours so it multiplies and empowers us to go further and help more people.

Be Blessed & Stay Blessed
Let us pray:
- Gospel message will resonate through the world as we celebrate Christmas
- Everyone affected by the floods in BC. Many have lost their homes and farmers have lost their livestock. Let’s pray for the restoration of what they have lost and also for roads and infrastructure to be re-built.
- For all the people we have shared the Gospel with. That there will be a 100 fold harvest for the Lord.
We would be happy to pray for & with you!
