Street Ministry Outreach – Surrey BC
June 29th, we were out on the streets of Whalley again, giving Care Packs with fruit, water, a hot dinner sandwich, snacks and the Gospel of John / Daily bread to 25 people.
As we continue street ministry, our hearts are moved with compassion as we see what Jesus saw when He said “the poor you will have with you always” “what you do to the least of these, you have done it as unto Me”.
We are blessed to serve with you all. Thank you for supporting this work. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask through email.

Words: Agree or Disagree
Jeremiah 38:4
Therefore the princes said to the king, “Please, let this man be put to death, for thus he weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking such words to them. For this man does not seek the welfare of this people, but their harm.”
The Israelites were demanding the death of Jeremiah the prophet because the words he spoke weakened the hands of the men of war.
How is it that mere words could weaken one that holds a spear and sword? Why did seasoned warriors with years of experience in warfare grow faint at Jeremiah’s words which were from the Lord?
We also see the other side of the coin, when words from the enemy weakened the hands of the children of God.
Goliath threatened the Israelites, and Saul and his army were dismayed and greatly afraid.
1 Samuel 17:11
When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.
Words do have the power to work against us but only if we choose to let it. As God’s children, we have been given the choice to either affirm or refute words spoken over us or against us.
David rejected and refused to agree with Goliath’s threat.
1 Samuel 17:44-47
44 And the Philistine said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!”
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
It took one young boy with faith in the Lord’s power to deliver, to turn the battle from defeat to victory. One, who was fully convinced the Lord was with him, chose to scoff at the threats.
This is why the Lord said where two or more agree, on anything and ask, it shall be given to us by the Father.
What are we agreeing with in our lives?
May the Lord help us to believe that which He has promised us in His Word. May we refuse words from our flesh, our own minds, the enemy and the world that does not align with God’s Word.

Testimony of God’s Power!
I encourage you to read the testimony below from a friend who has gone through severe challenges and is coming out victorious in Christ.
Be encouraged and uplifted as you read. With God, all things are possible! This was written and sent to me on June 19th, 2022.
Blessings,
Rochelle
For the past two weeks I have been going through periods of depression, fear and doubts.
I had a manifestation of a skin condition that I thought was incurable, and disfiguring. From the moment I allowed those thoughts to enter my mind, it was a downward spiral.
My mind was assailed on every side, and I allowed the negative, tormenting, life extinguishing thoughts to bury the Truth of God’s Word. I didn’t know how to handle what I was facing because I have never experienced such a thing before.
I came to a place where the tormenting lies of the enemy became more real than God, His goodness, His love, His, Word, His Truth.
The depression led to a loss of appetite, and I saw myself losing weight. And that was an added worry because I was already worrying about how skinny I was becoming prior to this. I was weak and at a very low point in my life. Prayer warriors were praying and lifting me up.
Sunday June 19th, around 1:30 pm approximately I suddenly felt that depression lift. I literally jumped up and down with joy, praising God.
I didn’t want my deliverance to be fleeting, I wanted it to be total and complete, and called upon my friend Rochelle to pray with me, and seal the victory God gave me, which we did.
Depression is real. I am coming out of this with a greater awareness and greater empathy for people who suffer with it. May God use me, to minister and pray for others going through the same thing and may we be equipped with God’s wisdom and compassion to minister to such brothers and sisters.
I am seeing my doctor tomorrow about my skin condition. Believing that God has answered me while I was still talking about my needs, believing that He has gone ahead of me and answered my prayer for healing. Believing that He is looking upon me with compassion and answered in His perfect way. And I will return with yet another testimony.
Allow me to share some words of a song that helped me through my struggle:
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don’t understand
When don’t see His plan
When you can’t trace His hand
Trust His Heart
