Surrey Outreach
On February 7th we did a mini outreach at the Surrey Central Mall handing out tracts, the Gospel of John and the Daily Bread. Some received with a smile some declined. Our call is to GO and be a witness. When anyone declines, we smile and move on. We will continue to stay the course of the mission that God has called us to.
Being a witness for Jesus inside a mall is very different from witnessing on the streets where people are more open to receiving the Gospel of Good News. Regardless of the varying responses, we will continue to go.!
As we were getting into the car and about to leave the mall, a lady came by asking for money. We gave her a gift card to a restaurant to have a nice meal and also a bible. She said thank you and left but just before we pulled out of the parking lot she came running back to the car and pointing to the Bible which we gave her she said, “this is just what I needed”. Remember that Jesus stopped for the woman at the well, for the woman with the issue of blood, for Zacchaeus, for so many more individuals. Jesus ministered one on one to people as well as to small and large groups and multitudes.
We are called to continue the mission of sharing the Gospel. You can make a difference in someone’s life. You are anointed to be a witness for the Lord.
Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
We are grateful for and thankful to everyone joining with us to do our part in carrying out the Great Commission for the glory of the Lord. May there be many souls won into the Kingdom of Jesus.
Please feel free to email, call or text me with any questions, comments and feedback.

Richmond Outreach
We assisted a man who lives in a car which is parked in a vacant lot in Richmond. We gave a gift card to a grocery store and a gas card. He has to turn on the engine and run the car every few hours in the night to get some heat so he can sleep. We also gifted a portable heater.
The Lord led us to a lady in a wheelchair, who lives by herself and we were privileged to bless her with a food hamper. It just so happened that she was celebrating her birthday in January so we also gave her some flowers and a birthday cake. She was very appreciative.
What an honor to bless one of God’s children in this way, and it was made possible by your generous giving.

A Time To Recall
It is a good practice to sometimes look back and recall what the Lord has done in our lives. Too often we sift through our past and there remains in the sieve of our minds everything that is negative.
Thoughts of regrets, failures, and mistakes are a breeding ground for fear and this leads to a dismal expectation of a repeat outcome in the future. An “As it was then, so it will be now” mindset can either propel us forward in the Kingdom or keep us bound for the rest of our lives.
There are many instances where the Lord was displeased with His people for forgetting Him.
Judges 8:34
And the children of Israel remembered not the Lord their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side.
But David was not so. He remembered how the Lord was with him, when he was faced with a giant, a spear, and a battle for his life.
1 Samuel 17:37
The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”
Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.”
David had a choice to remember God’s deliverance and power or he could have conjured up thoughts of every time he lost a sheep to wild beasts, or the words of his older brothers to return home, that he was too young to fight, or he could have taken Saul’s previous words to heart, that he was not a trained fighter. He had a choice, and he chose wisely. To remember what a mighty, powerful, supernatural God he serves.
In this season of your life, it is crucial to remind yourself of what the Lord has done in your life in the past. Do you remember the time he healed you? The time he answered that prayer for finances? The times there were no logical explanation except to admit it was a supernatural intervention? If he was able to deliver you in that situation, He will walk with you through anything you are facing now and victory is assured because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection.

And forget none of His benefits;
