This Christmas……

On December 1st we did an outreach in Whalley to minister to street friends with students from Pacific Life Bible College. We prayed for and ministered to many people.

It was overwhelming to see young, middle aged and seniors on the streets shivering in the cold, some with no jackets or blankets to stay warm. They were grateful for the care packs we gave them which included the Gospel of John, a warm lunch wrap, cookie and fruit. We also had hot chocolate and coffee to give them, whichever drink they liked. Some asked for a mix :).

On December 16th we joined Night Shift Ministries to serve a hot Christmas Dinner to over 150 street friends. We provided 14 large pumpkin pies, whipped cream, hot chocolate and coffee and Night Shift ministries provided the full turkey dinner. It was wonderful to be there and share God’s love and care in a tangible way.

On December 19th we visited a refugee family from Columbia. Jose and Stephanie have 2 young daughters. Jose is working part time jobs and looking for more stable employment. Please pray for this family. We gifted them a Christmas grocery hamper and gifts for the 2 children.

I have also been receiving many phone calls with numerous prayer requests and have been praying and ministering to these precious people. While we enjoy Christmas celebrations, let us please remember to reach out to those around us who are going through difficult situations.

I am thankful for our ministry team, our donors, supporters and everyone connected to us. May the Prince of Peace continue to reign in your life as we say goodbye to 2023 and release this year into history with thankful hearts that we belong to the Lord.
